An Douar

We have invested in Leaseback - An Douar in Audierne, Brittany. We expected delivery in June 2008, but due to building delays were told March 2009. Now, a further delay until 2010. Does this effect an agreement with the management company? Also in the contract it says delivery by March 31 2009 at the latest. Is anybody else concerned about this development?

Read your contracts and get a solictor now as you may be able to get out with your deposit intact.

All the warning signs are there,delays,delays,delays means lack of finance,lack of finance,lack of finance.Get your deposit returned and sit and wait!There will be plenty more bargains in the future.


As nice as Brittany is,i wouldn't touch it,if you must buy a leaseback stick to the Cote d'zur paris or alps!


If you do buy,the management company is key!Stick to one of the big boys,like Odalys,even in a downturn they are opening 10 developments this year!
