Hello All,

Just an update on the continuing saga at An Douar in Audienne Brittany.
Still not received any rent even though the lease was signed July2010. Glad to see that the development is up and running and has positive reviews on trip advisor! Customers enjoying the property at my expense!
We had a letter from the management company saying they are having difficulty paying yet the development is fully sold and well booked up as far as I can tell.
So I have now appointed a French solicitor to try and sort this out, though I am doubtful.
Any advice appreciated on how I can get out of this mess, I have funds for another year only after that if there is no rent coming in I will have to walk away.

What you need to do is write a letter or call the agencies advertising the properties and let them know you are not getting your rent. Advise them that this could bring them into disrepute if it sends people their and they are confronted by property owners.

Hi

Please let me know how you get on with this. I have

received two quarters of rent for An Douar but have not

received the last quarter. The property appears to be in

full use at the moment. I was there in May and everything

appeared fine with the property. I have contacted my agent

in France but at the moment they are on holiday until 25

August.

I am not sure what my next move should be. Any help would

be appreciated.
