Seperate from the usual syndacit des coproprietaires have any of you experience of setting up a seperate residents association where owners can speak to each other - inform ,advise, warn of problems, make suggestions, form a voting bloc etc etc. And , in English.

Basically an English language website for owners.

Can an owner insist on knowing addresses, even if only e-mail, of all other owners? I've asked but was told it was not possible. Considering i could go to the hassle of inspecting the land registry office and obtaining that info I don't know why the syndacit cant give it..

My apt is in residence du Parc (near Disney)

I am still hoping to do what i suggested in the first post and once again appeal to anyone who has formed an unoffical English speaking residents group/ chatroom/website for any particular property.

Does anyone know how can one obtain addresses of owners -are they openly obtainable at the local land registry office ?

Nick,

I received a list (names & addresses) of fellow apartment owners in my development. The list was made available to attendees at the Assemblee Generale de la Copropriete and one of them copied it to me. I have joined the French group of co-owners and a number of them communicate with me in English. It is working out well so far.

Regards,

Philip
