As there are two threads running and some users may have missed
this I am putting together a database of Lagrange/Soderev owners who
are interested in a group approach to try to resolve the current issues. If
you want to be included please send me a pm with you name email
address the residence you own at and when your lease started
Thanks
Kate

11 October 2012ps Kate I'm not sure when my lease started.. mortgage was
initially drawn down in 2005 so am guessing then???
Do you happen to know if VAT refund would take account of
years leased?
thanks Nigel

11 October 2012As far as I know but don't quote me you don't have to repay the vat on
the years it was leased. If it was leased for 5 years you would repay
15/20ths over 3 years. This is of course if we can get out of the lease
without paying compensation. I think some have struggled with this
even though their rents haven't been paid the holiday companies have
still wanted compensation to break the lease

11 October 2012It beggars belief tbh
I trust you have got my details via PM
Am keen to be involved in any coordinated action.
I also have reasonable web skills so could run up a website
if required

12 October 2012You have our details Justme and thank you for organising the database.
I do feel as well that it is very important for the owners at each individual site to get together post haste. If Lagrange do finally go under, and a buyer isn't found, then each residence might be in a position where it has to appoint a property management company individually.

12 October 2012Hi All,
I've just found this forum and am looking for some advice, we have a property in Azay les Rideau and have just received a letter telling us that Soderev has been placed under 'a safeguard procedure' , is anyone else in the same boat? Any ideas on a plan of action?
thanks in advance
