Odalys rent v late - Port D’albert

We have a house in Port D'albert that is a leaseback through Odalys, the rent is now 7 weeks late, when I put a lot of pressure on them they repiled by email and said we would get paid this week - so far nothing. Our leaseback is up for renewal in March 2014 - so hopefully this is not the pattern for the next year. Has anyone else got a property in Port D'albert - can not get through to the owners department, phone automatically goes to voicemail. Dixie

Not in Port D'Albert but we are having problems with Odalys too. No rent paid now since January 2012! Finally got through to the owners dept a month ago who promised payment by the end of November. It hasn't arrived....

Hi Dixie,

We also have a house in Port D'Albret and have not been paid.I have emailed and received no reply.I have also received a letter from them this morning which seems to relate to VAT to be taken from future rent at source.

Odalys run the complex where I have a leaseback in Plan de la tour, Previously ok at paying they have not paid the Rent due last quarter. I am involved in a group of about 10 owers and 3 or 4 have been paid but not the rest...not sure whats going on at Odalys...the recently bought a controlling stake in another company but they seem to be ignoriing their obligations to pay rent.. I wonder is there anywhere in France one could lodge an official complaint against them?

Thanks fo you repilies - sorry had a problem with getting on line so only saw your mail now. That's good news re the rent, I got the letter re the VAT too. The most annoying thing about Odalys is their lack of communication and not answering the phones/emails, thanks again for replying.
