French owner here at Domaine des Fontenelles (I live in Scotland most of the year), in my 10th year with Madame Vacances and currently experiencing a total nightmare with them! My rent for last year hasn't been paid yet so contemplating serving them a CDP! Would be keen to hear from others who have done that before and obviously any tips, recommendations! 18 July 2017It is always worth a try, some owners on the golf course severed CDP in January this year and most were paid within the two weeks other weren't quite so lucky. It is always a hit and miss with M/V.

I can't believe that in mid July you still haven't been paid ! Presumably they are still using your property this year too?
In previous years we have hassled them continually until they pay us, the latest that they have paid us was mid-March.
You definitely should do a CDP. Hopefully they will pay you but if it doesn't work, it is still worth doing because any late or non payments after a CDP will help with your case against them should you wish to leave your agreement with them in the future.

I was always paid late the
31 July 2017I was always paid late the previous years around mid March but this year is the first time I'm chasing them this late. I've started the CDP process today using frenchleaseback. Needless to say I want out but priority is to get last year's rent paid first.
