FrançaisI received a letter this morning from Judicial Administrator calling a meeting of owners on 10 March in Nice.They are looking for owners to be present or nominate representative.The admistrator's job as far as my little French can make out is to formulate propositions to renegotiate rental contracts.
We need a group of non French nationals to be represented.

25 March 2009Do you know of anyone that went along to this meeting and if so did you receive any feedback from anyone ... from an owners point of view? We own a property with RH but did not receive an invitation of this nature.

27 March 2009yes RH have selected 10 sites where they have stopped paying rents due to various issues with the sites.In essence they are in administration and wish to renegotiate rents at c.80% of current levels.

27 March 2009Except they haven't just stopped paying rents with these 10 - as far as I am aware, they have stopped paying everyone?! I wondered whether any owners actually went to this meeting, so far I have not heard of one owner that has.

1 April 2009Are you referring to the 10 residences that are under ZRR in the mountains or do you mean all of the others that are managed by Rhodes Tourisme?The rumor is that they have placed themselves under safeguard procedures that will allow them to not pay T4 2008 rents and T1 2009 rents AND try to renegotiate ALL rents. Anybody heard anything solid on this?

3 April 2009We received the letter yesterday telling us no rent for quarter one apart from 6 days from March 24th and our residence is only opened since January!!
There does not appear to be any safeguards for owners
