Repossession court order and worried sick

Due to the bad recession here in ireland and with being made redundant i was unable to pay my mortgage and now have a court order saying that if i don`t pay in 8 days that my property will be repossessed and i presume sold. In one way i have lost complete interest in it as it has been a major headache to me. The house i live in in Ireland does not belong to me but belongs to my wife and her mum. So i am wondering can they come after me for anything. I have tried talking to the bank but they just don`t want to know and i would be prepared to make some sort of payment every month. I would just like to know if anyone has any advise to give me as i am worried sick over it.
