Our lease with Lagrange was due to terminate in 2017.  No notice of termination was issued the previous year as required by the lease and so far no notice has been given.  I am not sure what the legal situation is now in terms of the ongoing situation and Lagrange are continuing to pay the gauranteed rental.  However, we are quite keen to sell our property but are aware that with the Lagrange name attached to it it is unlikely to sell  (this is from previous experience in advertising the property for sale two years ago).

Can anyone advise me of the options available to us going forward?

- are we able to issue a notice to quit to Lagrange without any legal of monetary implications to us?

- are Lagrange in breach of the lease already in not giving us notice at the due date?

We are in same situation Tony.

I have already asked Lagrange for a breakdown of the amount they are claiming in compensation if we end the lease (€23,000 plus in our case)

So far silence, which is par for the course.

We are considering getting legal advice in the New Year.

Hi Tony, Padraig, we are facing into the same issue with Lagrange - just wondering if you resolved your situation and any advice you can pass on? Regards Richard
