Terry, as far as I know the association are looking at the legal letter from o'daly's with s view to selecting the best lawyer to represent us. Yes it is taking forever and I don't know if we have that time on our side with the new season kickin in. It is all so frustrating and worrying! I have not been paid any rent from o'dalys since last June despite send them legal letter. My lawyer in France sent them a request in Feb but no response as yet. Like you said all we are getting are invoices from C.G.S. I am paid up to the last invoice. It is looking like this is going to be a money pit what with renovations etc that will

need to be carried out and from my perspective if I could offload the apartment at the cost I paid for it I would do. It is an absolutel

 nightmare being in the dark all the time, language and cultural issues etc. I did hear on the grapevine that o'dalys instructed their back office not to pay any further rent from January. Hope this helps.

We are all in the same boat it seems, no rent since June for me. My last e-mail from C'est La Vie was in the middle of February, explaining the state of play with Odalys and the owners group e-mailed me at the beginning of March to say they were consulting various lawyers to decide on a response and expected to have more to announce in two weeks. Like you, I'd gladly sell the place if I could, I'd even be happy to take a substantial hit on it rather than continue to pour money down a black hole.
