hi

So Odalys have decided to pull the plug on our complex (le jardin du golfe in plan de la tour). Basically not enough people signed up to the 20% rduction they wanted to renew the lease

They have told us they will leave at the end of the season

Has anyone else on here gone through this?

I dont think we will have a problem finding someone else to let out the apartments. They normally take 20% of the rent reeived though I have no idea how effective they will be

at attracting busines.but at least we dont have to worry about paying back the tax rebate to the french government.

A couple of issues immediatley are a cause for concern:

What happens the co-proprietaire SGIT Gestion  put in place by Odalys. will the exit gracefully or will it be a hassle?

Do we need to pay for our own electricity and water now or will the co-prop (new one!) do that?

What about insurance for the apartment?

If anyone has been through this and has any suggestions please let us know

many thanks

Woody

P.S. If you are with Odalys be prepared for something similar to happen they are clearly struggling!
