FrançaisIs is anyone planning on going to the Odalys AGM on Friday in Paris?
Like other people who have posted the owners at Le Neptune have not received any rent for the 3rd quarter and this time noone is answering phones let alone emails.
Obviously Odalys is struggling financially - and it is an obvious concern that the rent is now getting increasingly unreliable. It is unlikely to improve in the short term as the economic situation in France is not improving and Odalys have already once promised a regularisation of rents with capital investment which never materialised.
I believe that if they cease to pay on time we have the right to terminate the lease - but then what!
Can one terminate the lease and then sell the apartment without any conditions?
I see someone posted on their facebook page to get their money - anyone else tried that.
Any thoughts gratefully received!

If you fail to pay the
3 December 2013If you fail to pay the mortgage on a property, the house is reposessed. If you fail to pay finance on a car, the car is reposessed..... If Odalys fail to pay their rental payments, you can bet your bottom dollar (or should that be Euro) that some stupid French Law doesn't mean Odalys have terminated the lease by failing to meet the terms and conditions. The most annoying thing is the wall of silence you are met with when payments are 3-6 months behind schedule!!!! Just an honest standard reply to everybody would be much better than nothing!!
