thanks for replying. I was wondering if there was an online group set up anywhere for owners in this development? I had a couple of questions last year and it would have been handy to be able to ask other owners.
e.g. did everybody have to pay for the pool repairs? if so, how much, did everybody pay the same, and why did we have to pay, shouldn't the builder have to pay... gerimmo just automatically took the money from my account without even asking me. i was very surprised.
I'm also a bit worried about when the lease ends. I've seen a couple of threads saying the owners have to compensate eurogroup if they don't renew.
I don't think there are any online groups for the owners on our development. I think we all paid for pool repairs in proportion to the size of our property. As I unuderstand it the case has not been brought to court yet - so its probably a long shot but we might get some of our money back although I'm not counting on it.
As for the lease ending, that was a thread I contributed to. I think the position is that there is an assumption of automatic renewal for the management company under French law. If we as owners try to prevent this then Eurogroup might demand compensation. However, until the time comes we won't know whether they will and if so how much it will be.
