hi everyone
i have a leaseback property in residence serena in paris saint germain my rent is normally paid on the 14th of the month every quarter.
in july it was never lodged, i rang the management company which was ETUD ACCUEIL MEDITERRANEE looking for answers and they just said we,re not paying this quarter. my question is, is there anything i can do and what can i do. any help would be great

just to update everyone the management company got back to me and although the letter is in french i think the company has gone into administeration i dont know where that leaves me or anyone else for that matter

hey george from what I can understand you have 2 options, 1st is to take 30% of what is owing to you from unpaid rents, the 2nd option is to take what is paid to you over a 10 year period with payment broken down into various % over the 10 years. if you dont reply within 30 days of the date of the letter, you will be given option 1. It seems the company are now out of sauvegarde and are ok again, fingers crossed - although it seems they will have to give up mgt of one of the complexs.

Hi, we also have an apartment in Serena. Have you gotten a letter from a mandataire Judiciaire inviting you to make a claim presumably against EAM who are in some sort of recievership? If so has anyone responded or does anyone have details of an Englisah speaking, trustworthy French lawyer?

hi all i have just recieved a tax bill of 532.00 for my apartment in serena has anyone else recieved a bill for that much. i have no problem paying that much if everyone else is paying that much it,s just that it,s gone up by over 200.00 sence last year

i have recieved a letter from the reciever as it is
i have also sent back a letter looking for back rent hoping you have done the same
as i read it on the forum you suggested all be it a drawn out process the aministrater sorted out the back rent paid the rent while e.a.m
was under his control and sorted out the management company in the long term as much as i dont want this to happen if its sorted out that has to be good

information. Hope we don't have to follow the same long

drawn saga as them. These letters must have been sent to

everyone linked with EAM and I am waiting for a response

from the company I bought the flat from.

Hi Irishman321, I am in a similar situation with Residence Serena. I got a letter sent out yesterday from the management company it seems they are having financial difficulties and there is legal stuff going on. doesnt seem to say when or if we can expect rent. All these management companies were supposed to have legal indemnity insurance if they went out of business, so what happens now?
