I am also interested in selling my P&V apartment. I would like to keep it but my 10 year interest only mortgage has come to an end and Athena mortgages told me French bank no longer offer leaseback mortgage capital or interest only!
I was on an interest only mortgage and now paying the capital off. Have my property on the market with Sextant at a big discount. Not much happening after one offer that fell through. The whole thing is a nightmare in my opinion. A friend of mine stopped paying the mortgage a year ago and the bank (CIF) have done nothing. CIF now sent me a letter saying they have new contact details and it looks like a free phone number in France and no outside France contact number. All a joke the whole thing.
I have had several offers at about 60% of what I paid for it. Someone once told me if P&Vcan't sell properties in their own country to their own people that are so good, then they are not good. All a big con this. Called P&V two years ago and there follow up sales team is a waste of time.
