Le Domaine De Figuiere

Dear Domaine de la Figuiere, Ste. Maxime apartment owners.

I just received very very disturbing news from EuroGroup TODAY, a Madame Huard and also spoke with the company which will be handling my taxe fonciere, etc. now, C´Est la Vie.

Some background: These last several months I have been negotiating my INSEE increase, as many of you have already done. After agreeing to a 6% + other items increase retro back to Jan. 2009, TODAY, they have informed be that they are in financial difficulty and will be decreasing the rental amounts we are being paid each quarter, effective date AND PERCENTAGE OF DECREASE (?).

I have no other details at this time, but am now asking for anyone interested in grouping together, please respond with your interest and contact information (email).

What will happen is that EUROGROUP will propose the decrease to our rent and then the homeowners association (us) will need to have a vote on how to proceed. A majority of (?) of the homeowners will need to agree on whether to accept or reject EUROGROUP proposal.

Myself and two other apartment owners are already on board, so that´s three (3) units together. Best regards, Laura

Hi Laura,

We would like to sign up to your group - we have an apartment on the domaine and were very concerned by your posting. We will be contacting C'est La Vie to see what they can offer - representation at the meeting in March would be a valuable start.

Whatver Eurogroup's problems I'm sure they are not caused by our domaine so I think we will have to resist them as best we can and hope the french co-owners feel the same.

Thank you for your interest and I have your contact email address for future reference. I agree that having C´est la Vie involved in the meeting in March 2010 would be very helpful for us. At least we may be pro-active, rather than reactive...best
