non payment

   Hi,Marty i have same problem with Premevara in Cap D'agde.Odalys late again i have been advised

it will be end of Feb.to mid March.Irish glen.

To my shock I checked my account and realised that I have not received payment since last July. I sent loads of emails and eventually after the 6th mail, I got this reply yesterday;

We’ve well received your emails and we are sorry for the delay answer.
We have an important delay about the payments …

I put your name in the short list and I pass on information to my superior.

We’ll keep you posted as soon as possible.

Really dont know what this is about but I have Banks breathing down my neck, it is ridiculous

It looks as though Odalys is in serious financial difficulties and of course will try to save their own skins first so us owners will come off worst.  My rent has been late although up to date at present and other owners are the same at my resort some are owed 2 quarters rent.  SGIT Gestion have been charging us for work which Odalys should have been paying for and the whole thing is a bit of a mess

Odalys is making a profit and their shareholders structure is very strong so you shouldn't worry of them going bust.

However they are well known to have had cash flow troubles during the past few years this is because they are growing fast and unfortunately prefer to pay their owners late rather than injecting more cash into the company's account.

They pay the one who make the most noise (this work with French owners) if I were you I would harass them as well.

Odalys have never paid me on time.

We bought our place in Bains les Avenes in Jan 2013.   I have tried to contact the Service Proprietaires but they don't answer anymore! 

The Service de Development doesn't answer anymore.   I have send so many emails to Mr Jacquot but he doesn't get back to me either.

I contacted Cerencimo who apparently put me on a short list, but still no money for the last quarter.

I contacted the broker who sold us "the pig in a poke" and he assures me that they will pay soon.

It's a joke.   Plus we have so many other problems with our residence - water seeping in through huge cracks in the walls and roof.  Building

work that was never finished (it was new in 2011), building inspectors that won't pass the building.   Beginning to wish I had never heard of leaseback.

Odalys are for sale

I would strongly recommend that new buyers do not buy property from Odalys or managed by Odalys until their ownership and financial status becomes clear

Sextant would appear to be promoting Odalys developments and have a vested interest here
