Hi allI have a leaseback with Pierre et Vacances at Val D'Isere (Les Balcons de Bellevarde) that is just about to end its 1st 9 year lease period. P&V are now trying to provide me with a new contract where my rent reduces by 25% and they are telling me that I must pay 12,000 Euros for the refurbishment.Neither of these were outlined in the 1st 9 year contract and my very clear understanding was that the refurbishment cost would be paid by P&V after 9 years and that my rent would increase by inflation each year - not reduce by 25%They are trying to strong arm me into signing - telling me they will not pay me any rent and that i will be responsible for all costs from 1st may when my current contract expiresHas any one else faced or facing a similar issue with P&V - or any other leaseback company.I am very disappointed and angry with how P&V is treating me over this - and would recommend anyone thinking of buying through them to tread very carefully.Happy to share my experiences and learnings and welcome any help or advice anyone can give.
