My lease at residence de la foret in Flaine is due for renewal on 10 April 2015 - no contact from P&V yet, but I expect a hefty refurb charge from the information on this forum.

My question is about the existing furniture in the apartment which I paid around 12,000 euros for 9 years ago and is still in pretty good condition.  I assume that the furniture belongs to me?

I ask because I have a second apartment in Flaine and would like to move some of the furniture to my other apartment - has anyone come across anything like this before?  I assume that P&Vwill just move in and throw everything away when they start refurbishment and as one lease will run to the other I actually have no legal right to gain access to my apartment?

Thanks

I would have thought you have every right to access your apartment as long as you give them notice. As far as I am concerned, we have always had access "out of season" at Arc1950 and your residence should be no different.

If you remove the furnishings from your apartment, P&V will have one less place to clear - so I can't see them objecting anyway!
