Has anyone received official notification that the ex-RH leases taken on by Quietude have indeed been liquidated?

I like many others want to start getting my property back in the market and rented. Until an alternate leaseback management company can be found, I intend to rent it our myself.

We are also owners of an apartment transferred to Quietude. We have heard no official confirmation from Quietude about the liquidation only from the Association that has been set up for our Site. We too would like to take back our keys, does anyone know where we might get them. Do we get them from Quietude themselves or from the Notaire or Liquidator??????

Would appreciate any information from anyone.

I contacted (ok spammed) Quietude, determined to find out what was happening. I got a response confirming a decision by the justice on October 13th that residence "Resid Hotel" (which I assume is all the ex-RH properties) was placed into compulsary liquidation (original email below). Keys can only be obtained at the end of legal proceedings. How long does it take to cancel a lease???

By decision of justice on October 13th, 2009, residence “Résid Hotel” in management by the Groupe Quiétude was placed in compulsory liquidation. The procedure of the end of continuation of activity is in place.<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

The SELAFA M.J.A. in the person of Maitre Levy was appointed to the offices of Judicial Representative.

Documents relative to the progress of the procedures were passed on to the association or still to the lawyer indicated by the co-owners.

If no interlocutor was again appointed, meetings are made locally with the management agent elect him.

The recovery of keys can be made only at the end of the procedure and at request of an auctioneer.

I don’t express myself indeed in English, but I hope to have answered in your question.

I passes on to you the address of Maitre Levy:

I also contacted the company that originally sold us the property (Assetz) in an attempt to locate other owners. They could not give me any contact information, but did tell me they'd heard Eurogroup was looking at taking over the ex-RH properties.

Has anyone else heard similar? How can that work if the leases are cancelled? That suggests new leases which (from what I've seen on this forum) tend to be worse than the originals. Some may accept, some may not which means incomplete residences for Eurogroup.

We received a letter yesterday from MJA who are handling the liquidation of the ex-RH leases. My French isn't great but it seems to officialy confim the cancellation. Keys will be made available once an 'auctioneer' has inspected and created an inventory of each property. As we paid for everything in the chalet, I'm not sure why that step is needed?

It also mentions some other legal action still under way, which I assume is the action contesting the transfer to Quietude in the first place. Does anyone know for sure?

So, with the official cancellation, has anyone been looking at alternate management companies? Does anyone know the procedure?
