If anyone hears the ResidHotel decision..

Thanks for passing that on. This is disappointing news, as it suggests that the state of the company isn't currently clear. I was hoping they would be back in a healthy state following the Summer season.

I recently received some information about ResidHotel from my French solicitor. Apparently, there will be a hearing in the Cannes court on 6 October to re-assess Rhode Tourisme's insolvency situation. It seems 24 September was not the hearing date, just the end of the initial observation period. As reported by others, they will request an extension of the observation period. Apparently, Rhode Tourisme has a positive cash flow following a good Summer season, but they still have a lot of debt and will present a continuation plan to the court, containing a schedule for settling their debt. However, the many claims against them (such as the "declaration de creance" claims from us) are still being checked by the Receiver and this will take a lot more time. So it doesn't sound like we will know the fate of ResidHotel and our claims for a few months yet.
