After letters to owners regarding leaseback properties of the above, is any one out there any wiser?

Our Syndic, Opaleo, have not been in touch and we are at a loss at what will happen regarding new leases

offerd by VCR.  It appears that VCR are still part of Promeo, should this not mean that they can not change

the original terms of our leases?

Theres an owners group for Domaine du golf , fabregues, on facebook.

It was recently taken over by MMV and they announced a cut of 40% in payments and started to cancel some contracts. The owners got  together and employed a solicitor (€150 each) and are fighting their corner. Going well so far.

Its a closed group but you can apply to join and keep abreast of developments.

I would be interested as to how you are fighting your corner. Im an owner at St Clair in Cap D'Agde.

We are in the process of setting up and owners association so it would be helpful to hear of those with a similar experiance but further along the road.

Hi Susie, I'm a Loisirs owner ate Domaine du Golf.

VCR is NOT a branch of promeo but a " sister co" from Mer Montagne Vacances ( MMV). If you have signed your contract before july 2009, VCR cannot change it.

If before they may terminate it after 3-6-9 years.

Le Mas des Cigales has also experienced similar change of lease issues and

banded together and enabled a local solicitor to help about a year ago.

Problems deferred for a few years due to reduced rentals that were agreed.

Facebook closed group was set up,and works well.
